I find this article intriguing.
For i have this happen to me daily for a long time. I also let my own concerts play in my brain. I find the best part is being able to play and bring these sounds and feeling to life.
How one or two notes can turn into a catchy new tune. I found it important also to keep playing new ideas. The key is to balance the knowledge of theory with creativity it is one thing to play a scale it is another to express an emotion.
