Two Kinds of Creativity

by James Love
(Avondale, Az.)

You are correct. There are two kinds of creativity, one which is limited, attached to results, motivated by self related gain, and the other which is not attached to results, but full of energy for its own appreciation of the process and of beauty. It is art for art's sake.

When we forget ourselves our point of view is more holistic. We act from the totality of our being rather than our ego and from that comes much greater creativity and more meaningful and universal works of art.
